Quim Barreiros is a portuguese musician. He was born in a small portuguese village named Vila Praia de Âncora in 1947. He started his music career very young. At the age of 9 he already play drum in his father's band, but was the accordion his true musical passion.
Quim Barreiros is known for his song lyrics with double meaning and very popular among the portuguese emigrants' communities in the four corners of the globe.
Hits
Quim Barreiros became a well known and successful musician with his first hit Mestre da Culinária (Master of Cooking). However the songs such was Cabritinha (Little Goat) and Garagem da Vizinha (Neighbor Garage) made impact among the portuguese youth, and he started being invited to college festivals and parties, and that lifted his career.
